My Adults only Dolls House.

Hi all you lovely bloggers out there i hope all is well and that you are coping with this very wintry weather we are still having.

This week i have been doing a photo shoot of my dolls house. Its built in Georgian style, has 4 rooms and two loft rooms, the furniture and bric-a-brac i have added over the years since my hubby bought it for me for my 50th birthday. This is why i only let my grand children look at it and not touch.

As a child i was never lucky enough to own a dolls house and can remember playing with a neighbours one. which was great fun. That was a very long time ago, but what lovely memories.
This hobby is ongoing i am always on the look out for small things to go in it.
Please take a peep into my miniature world of fantasy.

  2. Oh that's lovely. I love all the room settings. I have one up in our loft which I assembled and painted. It is Edwardian style and I turned it into a shop which resembled my husband's grandfather's shop in Cambridge which was a general store that sold food as well as ironmongery and household goods. I was really pleased with the result and hope to hand it down to my granddaughters one day. It will be a family heirloom with their great great grandfather's surname on the shop front being theirs too.
