My visit to London to see the poppies

Last Saturday my daughter and i went to the Tower of London to see the poppies and we were not disappointed. It was very moving to think each one represented a soldier which was killed in the war fighting for their queen and country.
We both ordered one of the china poppies which we hope to get sometime next year.

While we were there we also took in a few of the sights.

  1. We were there Sunday. Amazing isn't it. It was one of those things that just had to be done especially as we are so close by. Glad you had a good day and managed a bit of sightseeing too. P x

  7. Lovely to 'see' you Linda. I heard on the radio that you could buy a poppy but wasn't sure how to go about it. Wonder if they've all gone now? Nice pics. x
