My Spring Swap

Hi all you lovely bloggers out there, hope you are all keeping well and not too fed up with this terrible cold and miserable weather we are having. Would you believe it , it is the start of Spring today.

First i would like to say.. how very touched i was by all your kind and caring comments you gave me on my last post regarding my lovely dad. Thank you so very very much.xxxxxxxxxxx

A few months ago i was partnered up with the lovely Rebecca from Crivens Cottage for a Spring Swap  This was my first swap so i was both excited and anxious about how it would go.

So this morning on the official Spring Equinox day my parcel arrived. I was so excited. I was just like a child in a candy shop.
Luckily hubby was around to take some photos of me with my parcel.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart Rebecca for sending such a lovely parcel filled with such love and spring sunshine.
I consider myself a very lucky girl to have received so many beautiful thoughtful gifts.

My parcel contained

A Flower Fairies Card
A  home made collage of spring flowers.
A daffodil mug.
The wonderful Weekend Book.
Hand made soap.
Lemon grass, ginger & citrus tea.
Thank you notes.
A good day sunshine plaque.
6 packets of veggie seeds.
Spring Story book.
2 lemon candles.
Cath Kidston hand cream.
All individually wrapped and sealed with loving written labels

The song of the Rose Bay Willow Herb Fairy
On the breeze my fluff is blown,
So my airy seeds are sown.
Where the earth is burnt and sad,
I will come to make it glad.
All forlorn and ruined places.
All neglected empty spaces.
I can cover-only think!-
With a mass of rosy pink.
Burst then, seed-pods, breezes, blow!
Far and wide my seeds shall go!

   Thank you xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Here are some photos of the gifts i sent to Rebecca for her swap.

I used a vintage Liberty print for my makes. I hope Rebecca will like them...

  3. What lovely things--and spring-like, too! It is very cold and wintry here in New England, USA. It snowed yesterday...it is far colder than normal, too. Your pretty things remind me that spring will also be pretty when it arrives!

  5. I adore my gifts too xx

I wore the brooch on my spring coat today and got asked where it was from and my reply was 'a blogging friend made it just for me' "SMILE" Cheshire cat style across my face.

I am really pleased you liked your parcel too, I was hoping you would understand my theme of renewal and rejuvenation xx
